Book Illustration
I have drawn maps and illustrations for many years, since my first job drawing up archaeological crop marks in Warwick Museum. The maps and diagrams have continued through the years since.
Recent more creative illustration has been for Scilly Birding: Joining the Madding Crowd, an amusing book of birdwatching on the Isles of Scilly written by Simon Davey, published by Brambleby Books and also for Is No Problem, Simon Davey's follow-up detailing his experiences as a natural history tour leader. The illustrations complement the text and aim to give a sense of the atmosphere of large numbers of birdwatchers on the beautiful islands.
