Jersey Lichens
This project lasted for several years, covering
research, photography and book design services.
The book The Lichens of Jersey was published in 2015.
Jersey is a beautiful island and it has
been a genuine pleasure to have been involved in this work
Charles du Bois Larbalestier became tutor to the sons of
Mitchell Henry MP at Kylemore Castle shortly after he had had
it built. It lies in Connemara, a humid part of County Galway
and Larbalestier found significant quantities of lichens new
to science in the four years that he spent there
